[RBENT] Parallel lists

Is anyone else getting two copies of postings to the googlegroups
RBENT list?

Apparently rbent at lists.bobcatos.com (the list I administer) is
subscribed to the rbent at googlegroups.com list.  I had to unsub from
the latter to avoid the doubled posts.

I'm not sure this is a workable thing, because any posts to
rbent at googlegroups.com get posted to my list, and if the sender is not
a member of my list, I get a moderation notice, that is
"somebody at someplace.tld has posted to rbent at lists.bobcatos.com and is
not a member, so said post requires your approval."  Bob Wand's recent
posting is a case in point.  BTW, sorry to see him drop out.

Alternatively, I could just manually subscribe the googlegroups member
to my list, but then, I think, he gets two copies of each post to
googlegroups.  That doesn't sound like a good solution either.

If I unsubscribe my list from the googlegroups list, then you all have
to choose a list or subscribe to both.  Then, in order to cover the
spectrum, you have to post to both lists, which means that those
subscribed to both lists get two copies.

In summary, there ain't enough room in this town for both of us,
pardner. :-)

I won't be offended if you all want to settle on one list and it's not
mine.  I stepped into the gap about the time Bud set up his forum.
I'm not keen on forums (fora, I guess) because it's too much trouble
to go there and check things out.  If I were to politic for my list, I
would hawk its searchable archive and no advertising.  I don't know
what the googlegroups list offers.  Still, mox nix to me what you
choose.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
