Yeah, we saw heavy stuff go through northern Hunt and Delta counties
to our north, and Rains and Van Zandt to our south.  Someone must have
crashed a tanker of water repellent around here, years ago.  Many's
the time we've seen rain at Cumby, 5 miles north, and Emory, 10 miles
south, and we don't get a drop.  Watching the radar, we can watch
stuff that looks like it's headed for us, split and go around.

Yeah, they borrowed Russell's stage-on-wheels and parked it at the end
of what would otherwise be a pole barn.  Worked very well.

Yes, but not for that.  I went one year for '89-er Days during my
college days.
